Samarendra received his BS-MS degree from IISER Pune, India in 2022. He joined Prof. Dr. Marschall's group as a PhD student at Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf after finishing his MS thesis under him. His research interests include algorithm and pipeline development for inferring genome information like genotype using long reads and a pangenome reference.
