Timofey Prodanov received his B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2015 and M.Sc. in Algorithmic Bioinformatics in 2017 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since then, Timofey has worked as a PhD Researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Vikas Bansal at the University of California San Diego. During his PhD research, Timofey analyzed segmental duplications in the human genome and developed several bioinformatical tools, including DuploMap, Parascopy and Pileuppy. Timofey joined the Marschall Lab in August 2022.
